Definitely not listenable for atheists
If you call yourself a christian, then you can safely skip the last section or the entirety of this review. From the beat and rhyme technical point-of-view, I would have given this album one and a half, maybe even two more stars, the beats are simple but of quite high quality, some few are cheese; in most songs the tempo is low, but rhymes are flowing without any cheap RnB stuff. Basically the usual underground hiphop fare that we know and love. Why did I rate this album with only two stars? The reason is, as an atheist, I can't listen to their staunchly christian lyrics without getting annoyed. Example: in one song they say separation of church and state is the devil's work. WTF does their fucking reverend write their lyrics? That christian theme is present in almost all of the songs on this album, although there are also some anti-capitalist topics which are more up my alley. Overall their message sounds like the forum trolls around my parts of the intertubes.
