Portal, the Prog Rock band that released Blood Red Tape also available here on Emusic. Unique vocal style but not the death growls of the other Portal. Light rhythmic rock with shifting time and swirling keyboards and drums.
this is NOT the portal that released "outre", which is crushing, blurry death metal in the style of morbid angel. the portal that released "element", sounds like a tool ripoff. not bad for what it is, but i don't own any tool records. dissapointing, but i highly recommend "outre" by the other, better portal.
