I'm a big fan of the blues, particularly blues harp. Lazy Lester is, in my opinion,one of the more underrated blues artists of his time. He was equally talented on drums and guitar as harp but I really love his harp playing. Very laid back, clear and full of feeling. On this album you get to hear him with some of the great Texas bluesmen. His tracks with Blind Orange Jefferson are my favorites.
Lazy Lester, the last of the Big Four of swamp blues, is enjoying one of his periodic comebacks.
