Three discs of Act is two too many, but the first will serve you well. I think the previous review said it best "Some of it is essential, some of it is lamentable, the fun is deciding which is which." ZTT fans should not pass this up.
There's a difference, a big difference, between Act and The Act - but eMusic's filing clerk seems to have missed it...oops...again... BTW, this is the obsessed-collectors edition of Act's seminal 80's album in all its syndrum-ed glory. Some of it is essential, some of it is lamentable, the fun is deciding which is which. Apparently the project started life as the score for a stage musical, sometimes you can tell.
