This is one of the coolest bands ever. I think there are better 808 records out there, but this is the first one I ever heard and has always been my favorite. It was given to me by a friend when I was a young kid and basically introduced me to electronic music. I disagree with the AMG reviewer; I think the vocal tracks are strong. Nothing beats Bjork's voice though!

Not Gorgeous, But Magnificent!

Oh my word. I remember borrowing this album and not wanting to give it back! A real variance across the album with vocal tracks backed up with some techno/break-beat stuff. Collaboration with UB40 made a great track ("One In Ten"). It's simply, download it now!
