I Feel As If I Am There, Again!
Traveling through the Grand Canyon is one of my all-time favorite traveling experiences. Each time I travel through the canoyn, I see something that I had missed before. Listening to this music is the same. I feel as if I were walking down each path as I listen to each piece of Gunn's album. "Moonlight on Havasu Creek" evokes a sense of connection with the spirit of the place. "Entering Twin Falls" brings a sense of peace and relaxation to me, as though I were floating on the Colorado River. The drum beats at beginning the "Flight Over North Rim" bring me the feeling of freedom...as if I were soaring with an Eagle over the canyon's edge. "New World" adds the guitar that reminds me of those from other lands who first discovered this new land...and the awe they must have felt at this first viewed the canyon. "Twilight" instills in me a peace and sense of being one with nature. There are 6 other songs to listen to and review. Enjoy...!
