We Are So Lucky!!!

EMUSIC-02027747

This album was produced and released locally in Tulsa, OK and sold on JFJO tour. To have it so many years later available for download all around the world is a TREAT BEYOND WORDS. Sadly, this CD was posthumously released. As a personal friend and a student of Sean's, I can say for certain, that his musical genius is of the highest pedigree you will find. The songs on this CD are among his best but there is so much more that he had to offer that we will never hear. None the less, if you like world music, country music, jams, soul, r&b, reggae, etc you will find all of that here. Plus a hefty dose "shaman" energy. Sean was a man in but not of this world. Music was his way of belonging. Let it envelope you in it's warmth, compassion, and grace. Rest in Peace, Sean Layton. Your wisdom lives on!

Hidden Treasure

EMUSIC-00E5DECC

This is one of my top favorite albums out there. I'm a big jfjo fan and this album shows many members of the band in an awesome different setting. This album is a unique mix of reggae, country, jazz, world music. It has an overall very roots feel. Sean Layton is an great drummer and an amazing songwriter.

best album ever

JamBass

I read some comments of people discussing how good this album is and i decided to get it. It's sooooo good!!!! I love sean's voice and lyrics (sometimes hard to understand) and the music is great. Sean's a great drummer (listen to some early jfjo for a better example), Reed has some addicting basslines(plus he's doing some crazy stuff with jfjo), Brian just an amazing keyboardist and steve pryor is a great guitarist. If you listen to the solo in George Dennie, Steve almost sounds like jerry.
