This album is one of the best examples of the expressive potential of electronic music. Telefon Tel Aviv really shows some talent in crafting some impressively complex songs, but weaving them together in a way that makes them smooth and listenable. The "glitch" aspects of their music keep it from getting mundane. A unique album-soft and chill, but still very emotive.

Great Skittering beats and thick Rhodes licks. Great album to just drive to.

Compare this to Immolate Yourself and you find a completely different feeling between the two albums. That alone makes me realize the true genius of Telefon Tel Aviv. I like this album better sometimes than the other depending on the mood.

Amazing

This is what all IDM / Chillout aspires to. Crisp melodies over blender chopped beats soaked in lush atmospherics. It's emotionally charged but unlike many it never crosses the line into schmaltzy affectation. A true classic.

Already had this one before it made its way into the eMusic catalogue, but it's a truly fabulous album and I'm glad to see their releases on here. Highly recommend this (definitely better than the followup, though that does have some moments).

If IDM is meant for coming down after a night of dancing to trance or house, then Fahrenheit Fair Enough is surely the sort of ambient bliss suited for bedtime. These electronic pieces are big on heavenly synth tones, while light breakbeats (augmented by computerized blips) sputter around below. The acoustic guitar on “John Thomas on the Inside Is Nothing but Foam” lends a refreshing organic element to the mix, fitting comfortably within the breakbeats. Fahrenheit Fair Enough borders on IDM and drum’n'bass at times but, for the most part, it’s a soothing listen and one that’ll bring you down gently. – Kenyon Hopkin
