Christian Death Metal Masterworks
Before Mortification, no one would have thought a bold, Christ-centered message could be incorporated in brutal death metal music. The classic lineup of Steve Rowe, Michael Carlisle, and Jayson Sherlock proved you could. Scrolls of the Megilloth is widely regarded as Mortification's best work, but Post Momentary Affliction is just about as good. Essential listening for Christian metalheads. Also of interest to general fans of thrash-laced death metal; you won't even miss the usual death metal lyrical-cliches, trust me.
