This live album, recorded in the U.S. in 1992, is basically what one would expect from an Alien Sex Fiend live album — very decent, very rocking goth-punk. The quality of the recording is somewhere between that of a high-quality bootleg and a standard live album. The band plays its songs straight, capturing the spirit of the originals; they make nice use of synths and samplers on their more goth-influenced tracks, like “Now I’m Feeling Zombiefied,” and others, like “Wild Women,” pick up the set list with Cramps-style rock. The album’s a nice addition for those who are already familiar with Alien Sex Fiend’s extensive catalog. – Nitsuh Abebe
