My favorite CD of 2006
I used to see this guy perform when I lived in Chicago. He was leading a band called The Pindrops. Now he's gone solo and this is his first post-Pindrops release and it's amazing. I'll spare this CD any inaqequate categorization, but will say that Wallace's vocals are distinctive, his songwriting is inventive and he always avoids the obvious in what is a wildly inventive and much needed addition to the independent music scene.
