One of the greatest recordings ever made..

gunnerNelson

Every second is infectious on this very rare recording. It's impossible to find a CD for under $100. Vinyl in good shape goes for $400! Get it now and you'll see why..

One of the greatest funk albums ever recorded.

gunnerNelson

The grooves are infectious, funky and remarkably fresh. The whole album is solid, download "Heavy Heavy Heavy", "Let them talk" or "Let's Have a Party" if you need convincing.

Yeah...shades of 60's

seoulsalsero

I didn't buy any tracks but it's a good album. Definately has a 'heavy' 60's, funk sound.

Essential

Absolutely agree with DJJaiDee's review. Awesome and infectious grooves, with some conscious lyrics dropped in for good measure. Been on non stop repeat!

Heavy is right!!!!!

Fans of Fela Kuti will love this album. Amazing funk chops on guitar that blows away almost anything recorded in the west. After spending years looking for rare funk grooves I have but one reccomendation: Get your soul shovel and start digging deep into the music of North West Africa! Other recommendations to get your started would include World Psychedelic Classics Vol. 3, Booniay!!, The Danque, Tinariwen.
