If a bang refers to an hour of music....... Anyway, if you like Acid Mothers Temple, this Box is totally worth the purchase. It may not be their "best" but it's a nice piece of the Acid Mothers Temple collection for less than the price of a soft drink at McDonalds.
What is with people who just HAVE to be know-it-alls? I have read plenty of Acid Mothers Temple fan/reviewers give this box a low rating. They generally always compare everything to the greats "In C," "New Geocentric World" and "Mantra Of Love." Okaaaayyyy? I have all of these and a dozen more and whenever I read people complaining about "The Penultimate Galactic Bordello Also the World You Made" I have only one thought: WHY?

Although I love the various incarnations of Acid Mothers, these tracks are too much even for me. Essentially they're one-hour jam sessions with nothing remotly resembling an attempt at a song. They do this kind of thing much, much better on tracks like "La Le Lo" and "La Novia"
If you have the least interest in psychedelic/improv/noise-rock you must get this album. 4 hrs for 4 credits is a bargain even if you're not really into any of the genres mentioned above.
