where did MY Sinead go...?

blearyeyed

By far, her greatest album is The Lion and The Cobra. I obviously prefer her earlier music to her more recent stuff. I do enjoy some of her slower balads, To Mother You, is one of my favorites...but I feel these two songs are just not up to the best of what Sinead can do. And yes, they are kind of on the boring side, good music to fall asleep to, not rock out to. Come back Sinead, come back to me...inspire a whole new generation with your music, you can still put your spiritual journey into your music AND please your legions of fans.

Ignore the Idiot

Burbatron makes me ashamed to be a Canadian. But there are idiots everywhere. These songs from Sinead are amazing, haunting, exciting... hurry back Sinead!

Sinead is a great artist

Megale

Never mind I am Irish - never mind that I have some faith too. Mind the fact that this is a great foundation for some other adventures that our girl is not standing still. I will use her work to make a longer version with some mash up and make it even fresher.

Beautiful

These songs are gorgeous, and I can't wait for the new album. Sinead is an incredible artist, and I prefer her slower ballads to her angry music. THANK YOU for these wonderful songs.

Real Snoozer Music.

Burbatron

Just because she's Sinead O'Connor, doesn't mean everything she touches turns to gold. I think this new music is boring. I guess she's given up trying to write anything with a catchy tune. She needs to think a little bit about her audience, and not just about her personal therapy, when it comes to writing a song. Bland-o-rama. Oh, and by the way.. if I write a review, and it happens to be negative, too effin bad. What, do all reviews have to be positive and cheery? It's my honest opinion of an artist I happen to really like. Just not the new stuff. Which I feel is limp.

Amazing!!

First I would like to get something off my chest about some of you righting bad reviews on these 2 beautiful songs. Sinead has grown up....Plain and simple!! She is not going to come out with another album like "The Lion and the Cobra" or even " I do not Want What I Haven't Got". I'm just sick of people complaining about it all the time. If you don't like her new material then don't go buy it when it comes out in April. I just can't believe there are people out there who would take time out to give bad reviews on 2 FREE Sinead songs. Sinead has a voice like no other...This Album could be her best ever, we'll have to wait and see. Anyway, these 2 songs have a great message and are sung with perfection!!

Having not heard any Sinead O'Connor for quite a few years I didnt really know what to expect with this. Its actually really quite good, pity there are only the two tracks to download.

Good, but not her best.

toosday

These two songs represent what I've always loved about Sinead O'Connor: Powerful vocals. Overall, though, the songs didn't really stand up to some of her previous work. These songs are definitely good, just not great.
