UGH That Voice

ianvanhoof

I REALLY love the beats on this album, but the singer makes me want to rip my own face off. Sure it is "novel" on a few tracks but GRATING on the rest. This album actually made my angry that I purchased it. IF ONLY it was just the beats. UGH. BAD BAD BAD!

FurryAligator

if your looking to repeat a reggae high than I advise against this, But if you like music that pushes barriers and combines genres than get it cause its fucking cool

Album of 2007

arpad

Heavy International is a mix tape itself, blending no wave punk song structures and atomic monster movie soundtracks with dub basslines and jazz drumming a la Marshall Allen. The Mix is So Bizarre, Crime, Beware the Swordbat, Feed the Youth, the whole album.

Not the new dub revolution, but hey...

NoelZevon

If you like those old On-U Sound records produced by Adrian Sherwood, then this will please. Maybe a little jam-heavy on the bass, maybe a little light on the echo for old school dub fiends, but "M.O.A.B." and "Feed the Youth" undeniably sound great on a mix tape.
