Superb recording and playing
This recording of the Mozart piano quartets is by far the most satisfying I have heard. Most other versions suffer from either too much spaciousness, or "dryness". This one is perfectly balanced - and played on modern instruments in a restrained but still vibrant manner, just as I believe Mozart would have preferred (you cant't put Mozart on a museum!).
