... "She's a Rejecter" might be only only real stand out track this band has ever done --- and it's incredibily derivative. So I'd say (at this point) not only don't download the entire "Hissing" album but don't even download this entire EP --- just "She's a Rejecter". (In fairness, I will try again to hear whatever it is that everyone who loves this band hears --- BUT, so far --- no dice).
Listening to the upcoming full album (available as stream on the polyvinyl website), it seems that there many great tracks on it. Unfortunately, the two present here are not among them. I don't know why these were chosen as this kind of "album teaser", but any other pair of tracks from "Hissing Fauna..." would have served this purpose better.
The whole darn album is amazing. It will knock your socks off, etc. Don't know if eMusic will carry it or not, but I preorderd from Polyvinyl and got an EP along with for free. Yay yay yay for of Montreal. Yay.
