Hooray for May!
This is the perfect team - saxophonist Pat Longo and his driving band, Frank Sinatra, Jr. at his singing best, and arranger Billy May providing the exciting charts! For just plain, straight-ahead, in-your-face swing, this recording is hard to top. The band is cooking, the charts are fresh, and Frank, Jr. is in rare form (he really does sound an awful lot like his dad). Why it took so long for this CD to be released is a mystery (recorded in 1983). This is a worthwhile addition to any collection of swing music - highly recommended - five stars all the way! P.S. Billy might have made quite a President after all!
