cassette demo, nashville 80s hardcore
h t t p : / / w w w . m y s p a c e . c o m / e f y o u s e e t e e --an early cassette demo from the seminal 80s hardcore band ef you see tee. in fact it's their first, and was self published, diy style. why this is for sale at 15 credits is beyond me. i seriously doubt the band is getting any money from this. sounds like a dual cassette deck dub, as were most of the copies that were available. - they eventually signed with carlyle records (dessau/grinning plowman) and released 1990's "dimensional depth perception" on cd. other cassette demos include 1988's "within" 1989's self titled demo "the green tape". - if you are a true fan of this band or the 80s hardcore scene then you will get a kick out of this recording which, despite the dated sound quality, is teaming with speedy adolesent rage, wall of sound aggro, and pre-grunge sludgy heaviness. perhaps a mashup of early bad brains, voi vod, the melvins, c.o.c., etc. but definitely have their own distinct style.
