You know how every once in a while you stumble across a band that you never knew existed and their album just completely blows you away? This is one of those albums for me. It's becoming one of my all time favorites.
I agree with the previous reviewer. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite downloads of all time (see my downloads). I found this album on an e-music list of post-rock/ambient stuff. I didn't know the band existed, but I loved their taste in artwork. I was blown away on first listen. The music is dense, layered, and intricate, but most of all, hard to pin down. They are akin to M83 (which I also love) but without the sugary rush. The vocals are minimal and subordinate to the music which makes it perfect for listening to while writing.
