Best relaxing music ever!!!

vice350z

I have a pretty nice collection of New Age music..i love to listen when going to bed or if annoyed at work and need to calm down. I happen to hear a track on AOL Radio that I fell in love with. Looked up the artist name and saw Liquid Mind. I now own all the CDs and have to say its the best relaxing music collection ever. Seems almost every song I've heard has the same soothing sound from beginning to end. No change in volume or instruments that can end up waking you up or take you out of it. I did wonder why though there were way more tracks available on emusic and then noticed songs are just split into two parts instead of one long continuous track as on the original CDs. Regardless, LOVE Liquid Mind!!

fall asleep to this.. and regarding the reviewer that seems to be calling emusic cheaters,i've noticed that just about anyone that is so down on emusic is generally narrow minded regarding music to begin with./go to itunes,,they probably have the stuff u want

Dependable, Maybe A Little Predictable

fhill_cpa

While I love what Liquid Mind has put out, this album was very enjoyable, the stuff seems to be very predictable and almost pedantic. I like to hear the mood wrapped in the music, slowly being revealed until you simply float away with the notes into the atmosphere. Predictability isn't necessarily bad, it's just that an afternoon of this gets a little boring. I find myself turning this off and going for a little country for a while. Meh! It's a keeper, nonetheless.

Not exactly a review

I haven't yet listened to the album, but will check the samples later. But on the whole "cheater" thing. I say be quiet. What I've spent here for music has been good, and I'm happy with it. instead of paying nearly 22 bucks for one cd I can get up to four or five CD's for the lump sum of around 30 (I got the 50 DL a month deal) You can't beat that, period. so stop complaining and be glad that the lables and artists are allowing us to get their music at dirt cheap prices.

It's the Artist, Not emusic

Alvin

First off, I would like to say what beautiful pieces Liquid Mind puts. You would not be disappointed with any of the track available here. Also... I would bet that it's the artist that's splitting the tracks to gain a better commission. I do appreciate the long tracks by Steve Roach and others also, but if I were he, I would split the whole Dream Circle into the 6 distinct parts of the whole. What do you think an Artist gets from emusic? Maybe a nickle per download after the label takes their cut.

Hmmm...Not so certain it's cheating

private listener-- I bet that you don't complain when you download an entire CD of one song (e.g. Steve Roach's The Dream Circle) that used only one credit but would cost probably far more as a CD. Remember you always have the option of not downloading something if you don't feel you're getting your money's worth. As for me--where's that download button...

Cheaters!

Privatelistener

Why are you screwing people by splitting tracks that are single tracks on the "CD" into 2 or three tracks to use more credits?
