Heaven on Earth

Padmore's rendition of "Tune your harps" is a balm for the soul and a little bit of heaven on earth. If there are indeed multiple universes, this album makes me glad I wound up in the same one with George Frideric Handel.

I was introduced to this by the BBC Music Magazine awards. Mark Padmore's voice is expressive and lovely while the backing is delicately done. Essential for anyone's collection.
