Very Impressed and In Peace
I am very picky about my new age music. I tend to like minimalistic sound that still feels harmonious and calming, and also as if it has forward motion as well. From my meditation experience, I have positive associations with the sitar. Some new age music has too much activity when there is a floating background with a solo instrument in front of that. In this case, a very beautiful balance is created between the sitar and the background. Even though the sitar is up front and obvious, it speaks slowly and sweetly as you drift along in the flow. Ahhhhhh!
