The Glasgow quartet Frightened Rabbit writes yearning, determined songs. Chugging, low-key verses open up into stratospheric choruses, merging the anthemic tendencies of bands like James and Snow Patrol with a ragged American indie-rock aesthetic. This eMusic exclusive live set was recorded at Urban Outfitters in downtown Austin during the 2007 South by Southwest Music Festival.

To put it simply Frightened Rabbit are THE best band in Britain at the moment! Their two albums are both amazing although personally I think Midnight Organ Fight is slightly the stronger. Download this version of The Modern Leper and then buy the albums! Mindblowingly great!!

Outstanding live band...

Frightened Rabbit's "Sing The Greys" LP is a really good album, one that gets better with each listen, but I've found a whole new appreciation for the band after having seen them live. They are a band that "gets it", being both musically sound and extremely entertaining on stage and this 6 song live EP does a very good job of capturing their higher impact live show (as well as showcasing their wit) and standout songwriting. Highly recommended!

The rabbit may be frightened but their unique songs, and their ability to perform live at such an incredibly high standard time and time again boggles the mind. Having now toured america, covered their home country including a memorable performance at the doghouse in Dundee for Pelmet Nites this band boast not only an phenominal live show but also music you want to listen to time and time again.... Music now is quite amazing so be less rude and download this now.
