eh kind of a rip

Most of these songs already appear on "Mr Soul of Jamaica" under different names. Shoulda previewed before downloading but just warnin. Good record but you're better off getting the other one, it has better artwork anyways.

Great classic reggae

Ultrasaurus

Despite the horrible album cover and title, this album is really great classic reggae. Great vocals, the first few tracks are pretty perfect. Album sags a bit on a couple of the slower later album tracks. But all in all, pretty great.

I had heard a few alton ellis songs before getting this, but was still surprised at how great these songs are. Every single song is excellent.
