\"You Are Never Alone\" is a gorgeous song.

Some of the songs are very, very strong and I love them, but the album is pretty weak on the whole, a lot of the tracks feel like filler. Also, the raps are not good. Honestly, the beats are amazing, but the raps are awful. Utterly awful, they're lacking and weak. Point is, the songs are amazing, the beats are great, and the raps and structure of the album are not good.
Oh, wait. Someone already used that title. Thank you! I'll be here all night. "Powerfully Original" is an excellent description though. It's an amazing blend of musical styles that are rarely combined, and even more rarely this deftly. "You Are Never Alone" is a good introduction, although again, almost every song on this CD is different. I downloaded the whole album after hearing this single (and I'm glad that I did).
Pretty f***in' amazing. Like the other reviewer said, this sounds like absolutely nothing else out there, and you'll appreciate it even if you aren't a hip hop fan (or if you are!). If Socalled had a better MC voice, this would be perfect. Luckily he doesn't rap too much. Also check out the Socalled Seder, which is excellent as well.
Ghettoblaster simply sounds like nothing else out there right now. Socalled deftly melds together klezmer and hip-hop to produce an album that's unbelievably fun.
