Man oh man, Flunk just keeps getting better with every album. Their sound is never tiresome and always entertaining as well as relaxing. I listened to the Personal Stereo album from start to finish everyday for about 2 weeks on my way to work and back home from work. And my subway commute is about 1 1/2 hours each way on a good day! Keep the wonderful and soothing sounds coming Flunk! I can't wait until they tour NYC.
Download Flunk's "Morning Star" album before this one. It will get you settled into their sound and then you can dive into this one much easier.
Flunk is absolutely incredible. Anja's voice is a voice one could listen to all day and never grow weary of. This is music you can literally put on and sit back to listen. There is probably no other group on emusic with more polished and complete sound as Flunk (and I'm a huge Ivy fan as well). The beats and tracks are reminiscent of Hooverphonic's Stereophonic Sound Spectacular album which is still one of my favorite albums of all time. You must have anything produced by Flunk.
