....what dude's trying to say below is, this EP is also listed under Yesterdays New Quintet, and the two tracks are available there.
I like the more hip hop sound Madlib brings to this unofficial YNQ release. It is definitely something you can blast with the windows down. Madlib keeps ya speakers shakin with some deft jazz drumming, fuzzed out keyboards, mad hats, even some flute action here or there. Give it a few listens and you'll be craving more. Start with Porter's Son to get a taste of that wicked snare.(EDIT: go hear for the two missing track, which are well worth it: http://www.emusic.com/album/Yesterdays-New-Quintet-Jewelz-EP-MP3-Download/11045331.html)
Overall vibe of this one is much more "hip-hop" than the other YNQ albums IMO (i.e. synth bass lines and that dope snare). It's a fairly solid release. I wouldn't rate any of the YNQ albums as 5 stars, but they are pretty much all solid albums.
I want Jazz! I want the embodiment of independent sound. I want what makes me ache for more. I want the sound that YNQ brings. And I want it now. They broke up... Well they left us with a legacy to appreciate. (damn...)
