Anti- Machine Machines

AcidRock23

I like the remixes a bit better, more creepy effects and a slightly heavier, farther out vibe. Which I suppose is the point of remixes? Good stuff though...

Excellent

Comrade

Killer electronic/industrial remix here, very well done, many of the songs are better sounding than the originals. Ministry fans will want this one.

Great album in its own right

defect666

If this had come out before Grande Blood I would have loved it as just another Ministry album, its definately one of the best remix albums ever done! I was worried that it might be a dub album, but Al & Co are always reliable, think more along the lines of White Zombies remixes. Favourites include Lies, Lies, Lies; and Fear is big business (both better than the originals)

It's like time travelling

Most remix spin off albums usually don't come close to the original, but this is up there with White Zombies Super Sexy Swinging Sounds. Rio Grande Dub(ya)has a feel somwhere inbetween The Land of Rape and Honey and Psalm 69. Ministry have hit the nail on the head HARD!! It's one to annoy the hell out of the neighbours with.

remix this

SatansArmpit

These remixes may be better than the original tracks. It's the perfect blend of vintage rape and honey Ministry and the thunderous metal guitar riffs that continue to define their sound.

By J. Edward Keyes, Editor-in-Chief

Madonna decided to wreak a little havoc by releasing her 12th album, MDNA, yesterday instead of today, which caused a host of other acts to do the same thing. To which I say: NICE WORK, SHEEP. We'll forgive you this time. Here's what I found. Tell me what I missed in the comments. Madonna, MDNA: Madonna's 12th album finds her reuniting with producer William Orbit on several tracks, teaming with M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj on another… more »

Who Are…Pop. 1280

By Matthew Fritch, eMusic Contributor

Getting under your skin has been Pop. 1280's business since 2009, when the Brooklyn-based industrial/noise outfit issued the appropriately titled "Bedbugs" 7-inh. Led by singer Chris Bug and guitarist Ivan Lip, the band's commitment to provocation knows no bounds: We suppose you could do worse than open your debut album by shouting "Two dogs fucking!" but we'd have to comb through some pretty dark corners of eMusic's catalog in order to suggest something more foul.… more »
