A great album!
This is one of my favorite albums to listen to straight through. There are fantastic songs throughout, and yet the album succeeds in being more than the sum of its parts. Very well done.

We Love Lewis & Clarke!
Funny enough, my band just opened for Lewis & Clarke last night. They were incredible. Get their album and go see them live. They are amazing musicians and really nice people.
Easy listening genius
Just like Califone, L & K will sneak up behind you when you aren't looking and put a bear hug on you. This album will grow on you until you can't stop listening to it. Don't say you weren't warned.
Quiet, atmospheric
There is something Japanese about this. Clean and natural like maples leaves falling. I can't put my finger on it. Probably the guitar picking. I stumbled across this and am so glad I did. Lovely, quiet lyrics.
The Gap
Lou makes beautiful music that rises out of the Delaware Water Gap. This is a fantastic collection of songs. Perfect for a ride home late at night in the winter. Highly recommended.

I was actually looking for ambient beats when I came across this album, and I was totally blindsided. Tracks 1, 2, 3 would have made buying this in a record store totally worth it. Secret of the Golden Flower's overlapping tones are so rich and resinous they could have been carved out of mahogany made this a must have. Even if you only have 1 dl left, just do it... DO IT.
