Worth the Download
I really hated track number 1. Don't waste a download on that. But the remaining four are cool for different reasons. You've got the always welcome Flunk singing one of their lesser known songs. For those who don't have this song it will be a treat. Slowpho's "Surrender" and "Ease My Mind" by Cinque Cento sound like something Dusty Springfield would have released in the early seventies. That is a REALLY GOOD thing. Now, about track number 3...I have been listening to music mostly all of my waking hours since I can remember. I have heard it all. But this track actually made me prick up my ears and take notice. Think "Electric Kingdom" + "One Nation Under a Groove" mixed into a syncopated marching sound, with the late Rick James on the synthesizer. Bootsy Collins, where are you?
