Good Techno
Not a lot of surprises, but a well constructed - solid composition. Fans of Detroit or Berlin techno should make time for this - maybe fans of Output Message too.

Aril Brikha's first album 'deeparture in time' was a real land-mark album for me, the first time I heard it I was absolutely blown away and I've been a firm fan ever since. After producing something so significant at such a young age I always suspected that any follow-up album was going to be a big ask. Whilst I feel that 'Ex Machina' is a lovely sounding album I have to be honest that it doesn't do anything for me that the first album didn't - personally I get excited by the artists that I enjoy evolving with each album they produce and for me Ex Machina doesn't represent a particularly big leap musically and having been produced some time after 'deeparture' it even sounds a little dated now. Still - enjoyed it anyway.
This is without any doubt one of the best techno albums released this year... not too complicated yet not too simple, nice Detroit style melodies and a trancy atmosphere, this album is exactly what you need!
