Slow grower
A friend referred this cd to me, and i wasn't completely impressed at first. But the first time i listened to it with headphones was on a bikeride home at night, and it really did it. It feels a bit unassuming at first, but it really gets under your skin. His melodies are honest, creepy, haunting, beautiful, and the mixing is really odd. Lots of high end and odd textures. It's worth listening to, and certainly a "headphones cd". One of my favorites this year.
