Art in pretentious bad taste: thats what kitsch means and thats what KITSCH does. An extravagant combination of pop melodies, funky riffs, groovy bass and rocking drums, blended with the essential elements and soundscapes stolen from the dance culture makes KITSCH quite different from your typical favourite pop rock band, yet eventually that's what its meant to become! KITSCH started out as a solo project by Edo Faiella. A Berklee College Of Music Alumnus and former guitarist in Boston-based bands Orbiting Riley and Dynamo Hum, after graduating, Edo went back to Italy, his homeland, where he began incorporating his passion for dance music and music technology into his pop rock songwriting. This album is a creeper and has 6 pure pop gems starting from track 1 to 6. Download and play this load on any sunny day with the top down and dig the tunes. 10 points from me.
