This EP took me a few weeks to fall in love with. But it's the cover of Disorder that really sells it for me. The fact that it's kind of an underrated band doing an overrated band's underrated best song is neat, but it's also how much more powerful restraint is than balls-out bedroom rocking. (btw, I LOVE Joy Division, but it's getting Ramones-esque these days). According to the notes, it was all recorded live in one take with one microphone, and it sounds terrific. One of the best gems on eMusic.
