Great wake and bake music!
A cracker of a CD
Thanks Orchard and thanks e-Music for a cracker of a promo CD. I'm not by any means an expert in these genres of music but I know a good selection when I hear one. This desrves supporting. I'll be looking out for more from these musicians.

Great if purchased. Greater for free!! Add to the Ryan Shaw Album and burn a CD that will take you back to the best days at Stax and Memphis Soul/R&B. Thanks EMusic.

Budos
Grab Chicago Falcon even if you have the version from "The Budos Band II" album. This is more of a funk sound, and may not even be the same song actually. The Sharon Jones is solid, though not as good as her other material here. The Clarence Reid is a bit of a dissapointment.

i was old enough back then to enjoy them live on stage, outside, on a warm summer afternoon with a nice cold brew and good friends. these tracks bring back some sweet memories even for a child.
