Upgraded 4-5

I downloaded this album a little while back and liked it quite a bit right off the bat -- good enough for 4 stars... I just circled back around recently and realized how amazing it really is, and now am willing to declare this as one of my favorites ever. I can't stress enough how great this album is -- deep and calm, yet not dreary or depressing. Great for a calmer drive to/from work in rush-hour; perfect for being in nature, or for rainy days; even good for sleeping. Fantasic download value for ambient/IDM lovers. Enjoy!

An all-absorbing sonic environment

Every track on this album is good - and yet somehow, it also succeeds in being more than the sum of its parts. For the full experience, clamp on the headphones and listen to it straight through. This is music you can sink very, very deep into.

I love this record. It has all right stuff for me. Drones, tones, found sounds, etc. Not unlike the artists other reviews here have stated.

A Standout Album

I listen to a hell of a lot of ambient music and this is one of the few recent albums that transcends the genre. Not sure about his other, more beat-heavy material but DL this one right away if you like: Tim Hecker, Pan-American, Colleen, Gas, Stars of the Lid etc.
