Good Recording, Soulful Blues

Skip James is known for his high soulful singing style and it really shines through on this set of recordings. If you need tracks that are a little richer and not so thin and scratchy, I'd definitely snag a few from this album. The version of Hard Time Killin' Floor Blues on this Album has a more complex and audible guitar approach (and recording quality) than on the "Complete Early Recordings" Album. Both are excellent though.
