Voice of the Ghettos
There'a a lot more to Trust than the blatant AC/DC tributes: long before gangsta rap groups like Assassine hit France, they were the voice of the tough housing projects of Paris' Banlieue Peripherique. Most of these songs are rabble-rousing agitprop anthems that have dated coz of the politics. But Trust's righteous socialist anger is still a good listen. 'Antisocial', once covered by Anthrax, is a classic attack on arrogant businessmen, the kind you always see riding the London underground (or, here, the Paris Metro) with their thousand yard stares. It's quite funny if you understand the French lyrics! English versions of some of these songs came out in 1981 - any chance of a reissue?
