toastin over dubs, you just can't go wrong. check "wicked down fall" for a good example. i am constantly amazed at how much amazing music came out of this era. even with the same riddims, they all put their own voice to it. like the other reviews, Big Joe is certainly in the ranks of U-Roy, Big Youth, Dillinger,and Prince Far I.
This is a rare treat for fans of Djing or Toasting,straight from Yard,Big Joe has a place in the reggae history books along with such greats as U-Roy,I-Roy,King Stitt ect,and for mentoring the great Ranking Joe originaly known as Little Joe,get it?Definitely not a waste of downloads!!Crucial Natty Crucial!!

This epitomizes a particular style of 'hysterical' sounding DJ's in the Tappa Zukie model, which come to think of it I thought it was just him. Now this album fills in a much needed counterpoint in any serious collection. Truly amazing that someone reissued and emusic has it, I'm a happy man, great stuff.
