Imagine the lovely, fuzzy soundscapes of My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive with a touch of Phil Spector girl group melodies, with a Japanese flavor. Most bands in the indie world nowadays put out one decent debut and then get worse and worse with subsequent releases. But Asobi Seksu? They keep getting better and better, with their sound constantly evolving and improving, like a truly great band.
