finally something truly unique
there has been a huge influx of disco revival in the past few years, with most of it being sensational but without really pushing electronic music as a medium. this album does both, and does it gracefully; not beating us over the head with the usual flatland fancy effects, but smartly mixing varied sounds that are rarely heard in electronic/dance/house/etc. this album isn't another exercise in futility. it is an honest, and IMO successful, attempt at creating multi-dimensional music.
