Tasty Flavors from "Red Pony Co"
Perfect country pop meets fun power-pop harmonies meets a soft-voiced Allison Krauss bathed in a smooth lonely peddle steel guitar. Varied song instrumentations--which is refreshing. "Postcards" sounds like RPCo. is channeling Neil Young circa "Harvest." "She is Yours" is way above average country pop. "Sleep Song" is the Allison Krauss ringer-good! "Penny in a GoldMine" is the most relaxed. This may be an EP out of their regular contract, but if they are new to the scene, watch for their work. RPCo. is fun. Listen and download.
