Classic Punk!
Good ol' late 70's UK punk from the old days.Makes me wish I still had a mohawk instead of a bald spot!

An excellent compilation of the late 70s UK political punk band taking in their first self-financed EP, the follow-up Peel favourite 'UK78', and, most crucially, the excellent 'Hymns of Faith' mini-LP which saw the band firmly adopt a more post-punk sound, relying more on heavy atmospherics than heavy chords. Throw in a bunch of demo versions too, and you have a slab of musical history that's well worth reviewing. Check out 'Afraid' and 'Frustration' and 'UK78' to get an idea of what it's about, then download the lot - your music museum needs it and 5 stars is the verdict. If you want to read the next chapter in the Crisis strory after their short-lived tenure then sample some Death in June which featured a couple of Crisis personnel.
Brilliant stuff... wrong band! This appears to be punk masterpieces from the brilliant but short lived British band of the same name. Their only l.p. release-the 7 track "Hymns of Faith" is covered here as well as the incendiary 'Holocaust' released in '80 on a Bob Fast compilation. not sure of the derivation of some of the other songs but will endeavour (Canadian spelling) to ascertain. Five stars surely. Seminal stuff. Not sure about the New York group spoken of in the emusic review. Great day to see this in digital format!!!
