a recent convert's musing
I have recently become enamored of ambient electronica among my other genre interests and Rena Jones is one of my favorites. This music is interesting as well as melodic and not a stinker in the bunch. There is alot of not-so-thoughtful stuff out there in this genre that seems to meander around a riff, often in a boring way- her music progresses without that sense of self indulgence. Follows up on her her earlier work very nicely, also worth the downloads.
