I'm not sure how to describe this, but it's definitely interesting. An a capella german men's choir singing jazz in the pre-war years. I like Ali Baba, and Tea for two, but they're all good. They make the sounds of instruments with their mouths, and sing the rest.
Well, it ain't in the rock genre, for sure, emusic! But, damn, these boys will rock your socks off with close harmonies, sometimes sweetly, sometimes darkly sung; but always original. Many imitators in the modern era, but these guys were the real thing in pre-Nazi Germany (check out the American release of their bio-pic, "the harmonists", i think. Just grand listening. And I started out on rock n roll!
