This album is simply enchanting. Just listen to "life is unbeleivable" and you'll know what I mean. "Pineapple shoe", "Sail the Rails railroad sailor", "River Rations" are some gems off this one. The album has a kind of early 60's Utopian innocent feel that you found in pop songs back then. If approached with an open heart this album can make you melt. Enjoy!

Canadas John Southwort has been making magical, idiosyncratic popmusic for more than ten years that has been strangely ignored. If Devendra Banhart were more into Paul Mcartney than bert jansh would be one possible description of the folkpopsongs on the pillowmaker. But listen for yourself.
