Four track goodness
For fans of acts like Panda Bear and High Places (and I am), an even more lo-fi experiment. Levels sound intentionally blown out, with vocals that may involve microphones-in-mouths. (I wasn't there). Some Eastern sounds come through on tracks like "Before the Revolution," like Chinese street performers with a backing brass section that falls in and out of attention. Check out "New Mexico" for a good taste of the rest. "Grotesque Woman" follows a kind of Beefheartian path, parts of a dream maybe. This Sexual Diner is fast and bulbous, you dig?
