Read about this album in Modern Drummer so checked it out, and, this so far is the best thing ive downloaded from emusic .The playing by all is top, the guitars just angry and nasty enough, but from a drummers view point this is just amazing and all tracks are terrific...check out other Sipe stuff i urge you all ...now...go ...!
First things first... Jeff Sipe is fast becoming my favorite drummer.In the fast and furious opener Alex comes across like some futuristic Allan Holdsworth. In the preceding release`[SIC]`He played like a humble Steve Vai with the compositional skill of Frank Zappa. That`s right he`s that good!And there`s a track called `Yoga for Cats`. Download it all now you hesitant jazz/fusion/guitar freak.
