As a fan of ambient/instrumental music in general, there's some cool stuff here, but nothing that really does it for me. Definitely not the place to start for BSS (try YOU FORGOT IT...), and in retrospect, probably only for the BSS completist. FAVES: "Guilty Cubicles", "Passport Radio."

This is far and away my favorite sleeping/relaxation record. That may turn off some people, but there are times when I need to disconnect and pass out on the couch, and only BSS' "Feel Good Lost" will do. They changed direction after this, and I miss them.
this will please anyone who likes music - not in-your-face, not boring, pretty but not fey, its one of my faves to put on while reading or painting
I'm pretty ambivelent about Broken Social Scene and only occasionally am I in the mood for anything instrumental, but I love this one. There have been a few times when this is the only album out of my entire collection that my ears will tolerate, usually after I've had a bit too much of a certain something you aren't supposed to have too much of. For those situations alone it's worth downloading, but for many more as well. Anyone should appreciate it.
This is a great intstrumental rock record. If y'all are expecting Kevin Drew singing, or any of the Arts and Crafts ladies to make an appearance, forget about it. If you are a fan of BSS though, this really is a must have, to understand the evolution of the band if you will. Kevin Drew stated in his latest Pitchfork interview that this is only true "album" that he's done, BSS or Spirit If. Everything else he calls "mixtapes". Which i really agree. This album flows seamlessly.
I am not allowed to program 3 hours of Emily Haines, so I decided to stretch out and include all of the female artists I love that we have on the site. I think I was pretty thorough, but I did sneak in Emily on a Broken Social Scene track, a track from a solo EP, AND a Metric cut, albeit a vintage one.
